32nd Annual Holiday Lighting Festival
Denton’s Holiday Lighting Festival is North Texas’ pride and joy during the holiday season. Capture the spirit of the holidays with festive activities for everyone to enjoy! Kick things off with the annual Winter Wonderland, where visitors can enjoy food and drinks, a 12-foot-tall snow slide, photos with favorite holiday characters, and listen to holiday tunes. You can also help a family in need by donating to the annual toy drive, either in person at the festival or online. Less than 10 minutes away from The Residences at Rayzor Ranch, our residents can make holiday memories for years to come.
Lakeside Conroe
The Conroe Christmas Celebration is a beloved tradition and one that our Lakeside Conroe residents are sure to enjoy. Less than 30 minutes away from our community, visitors can ring in the most wonderful time of the year on November 28 at 6 p.m. with the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony with Conroe Mayor Jody Czajkoski. Immediately following the tree lighting, you can enjoy Christmas on Main Street in historic Downtown Conroe. Fun for visitors of all ages, this event includes some of our favorite holiday activities, including cookie decorating, face painting, letters for Santa, and even an appearance from the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who!
Georgetown Heights
From November 24 through December 24, Georgetown Heights residents can experience holidays the Texas way at Christmas at the Farm! Just 20 minutes away from the Georgetown Heights community, the Sweet Eats Adventure Farm & Petting Zoo hosts this annual event that is sure to put a smile on everyone’s faces. From Breakfast and Supper with Santa to live reindeer and candy cane hunts, there’s something for everyone at this farm festival.
Palm Bay Galveston
Holiday in the Gardens at Moody Gardens
Attention Palm Bay Galveston residents! You won’t want to miss this holiday tradition. Holiday in the Gardens at Moody Gardens is just 15 minutes away from our Palm Bay Galveston community and is a winter wonderland for all ages. From November 18 through January 6, you can enjoy tons of festive, family-friendly events, including ICE LAND: Rainforest Holiday, an immersive exhibit that leads you into the magical world of the rainforest, only this time it’s made entirely of ice! Take a stroll through the Festival of Lights to take Instagram-worthy pictures and make memories that will last a lifetime. And don’t miss “A Christmas Wish Holiday Spectacular” from December 22 to 30 for a show that combines the wonder of the holidays with the talent of Broadway. Experience all that and so much more at this incredible holiday event.
Enclave at Mason Creek
From November 17 through January 7, Enclave at Mason Creek residents can enjoy this spectacle of lights just 8 minutes away from home! For the first time, the light show will be held at Katy Mills and will feature enormous displays and installations, creating a visual experience unlike any other. Celebrate the magic of the holidays with immersive exhibits, holiday music, and activities for all ages. Get lost in the Space Maze or go back in time to Dino Land! From lights to rides to food and more, this event brings a winter wonderland to Katy.
Sonata Estates
Waxahachie Junior Service League Christmas Market
On December 1 and 2, the Waxahachie Junior Service League will be hosting their annual Christmas Market! Featuring vendors from across the state, festive treats, raffle prizes and so much more, this event is loved by Waxahachie residents, including those at our Sonata Estates community. Get a head start on holiday shopping with special gifts you can’t find anywhere else. Just 12 minutes from our community, this magical market should definitely be added to your list of things to do this holiday season.
