April Langford is the Director of Human Resources at Wan Bridge. In her role, she serves as the go-to person for all items related to human resources. She strives to build strong relationships with her team every day, as well as bridging the gap for other teams within the company to do the same.
Working in a human resources generalist and management capacity within the residential construction community for most of her career, April understands the needs of her teammates across each department. She is particularly experienced in strategic planning and proactively identifying the needs and related solutions of the company, leading to the continued cultivation of Wan Bridge’s strong culture.
April lives in Spring with her husband and children. Her family frequently participates in the local 4H chapter, volunteering as project leaders to help children with various projects, including raising rabbits and swine. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources Management and is a Certified Human Resources Professional.
Danting Li is the COO and Co-Founder of Wan Bridge. She oversees operations in all departments throughout the company and leads the human resources, investor relation, public relation, operation and property management teams.
Before Wan Bridge Danting was an investment director and general manager of a real estate investment company in Houston. Before relocating to Texas and prior, to this role she served at a law firm for investment and immigration cases in Los Angeles.
Danting attended the University of Southern California and graduated with a master’s degree in public policy. She also graduated from Peking University with a master’s degree in software engineering. Danting is a licensed Realtor in Texas and loves to spend time with her Labrador, Doudou.
Lisa Kennedy is the Regional Manager at TBD Management, the property management arm of Wan Bridge. She overseas the property management operations and is focused on the Greater Houston Area.
She is a proven leader who has been active in the multifamily industry since 1994. Lisa has extensive experience in the luxury market with the new construction, acquisitions and REO from her time in markets such as Texas, Arizona, Minnesota and Washington. Lisa is a Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS®) through Texas Apartment Association.
In her role at TBD Management, Lisa leverages her extensive experience in multifamily property management to bring the best to Wan Bridge’s build-to-rent communities. Her in-depth knowledge of Southeast Texas allows her team to utilize valuable insights into the unique traits of the regional market. Lisa is a top producer that exceeds company goals and secures continued growth with a proven track record.
Bin Wan is co-founder and CFO of Wan Bridge. In his role, Bin oversees all accounting and finance reporting for the company, as well as equity and debt financing of WB’s projects, cash flow management, and corporate budget. He has been in the real estate development business since 2012.
Bin has extensive knowledge in analyzing, investing and financing overseas real estate projects, as well as risk management ability. He has played several significant roles in his career. Prior to joining Wan Bridge, Bin served as VP of Finance for a large investment group in Canada.
He has always been passionate about the real estate industry from a very young age. Bin holds a bachelor’s degree of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, from Simon Fraser University in Canada.
Outside the office, Bin loves to spend time with his wife and two children. He is an avid road biker and is interested in hiking, skiing, travel and reading. In the past, he has volunteered at his children’s school and strives to stay involved in the local community.
Jeanette Rogers is Community Manager at TBD Management and brings more than 34 years of experience to the company’s rapidly growing build-to-rent team.
She has worked in Houston and surrounding area markets for the majority of her career holding roles from progressive property management to marketing and customer relations. Her experience includes Conventional, Real Estate Owned (REO) and Residential Housing including Subdivisions with HOA Management.
Some of her business credentials through the National Apartment Association include CAPS Certified Apartment Property Supervisor; CAM Certified Apartment Manager; and NALP National Apartment Leasing Professional.
Peter Lai is the Senior Vice President of the Dallas Division at Wan Bridge. He is in charge of leading the company’s site acquisition, residential lot development and government relations activities.
Peter has more than 20 years of broad experience in the areas of real estate acquisition, development, engineering and construction management. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas with a strong background in civil engineering. During his career, Peter has overseen large residential development projects as well as mixed-use projects with hotels, residential condos, retail and multifamily products.
Prior to joining Wan Bridge, Peter was the managing director of a large land developer and home builder in Plano, Texas. Having served key leadership roles at several well-established organizations, he is recognized for his ability to communicate effectively among various stakeholders and lead efforts to achieve common goals.
Charlie Tipton is Regional Construction Manager for Wan Bridge. He is responsible for the oversight and execution of construction and development projects in the North and the West region of Greater Houston for the company.
Prior to joining Wan Bridge in 2021, Charlie spent more than 15 years in both custom and production homebuilding in the Houston area. Suffice to say, he knows his stuff!
Charlie’s diverse background and commitment to quality provides a solid foundation for developing a construction program focused on innovation and pushing the industry forward.
Julie Dai is the Director of Public Relations and Branding at Wan Bridge. She joined the team in 2018 and has been in charge of all public relations and investor relations functions, as well as marketing initiatives for the company ever since.
Julie’s career experience spans multiple industries including healthcare, investment and real estate. She spent two years at a VC accelerator where she held critical roles reviewing and editing business plans, conducting due diligence studies, organizing roadshows and liaising with investors.
Born in Shanghai, Julie moved to Texas in 2008 and has spent most of her adult life in Houston – which she considers a second home. Julie received her M.B.A. from Rice University, M.A. in Public Relations from University of Houston and B.S. in Physics from Fudan University.
Julie is a mother to a very sweet toddler girl and a five-year old bulldog who constantly fights for attention.
Randy Hutchinson is the Director of Construction at Wan Bridge. In this role, he oversees all vertical construction for homes in the Houston, Dallas and Austin areas. Randy is responsible for the construction personnel and building of all homes, ensuring projects start on time and stay on schedule to meet proposed deadlines.
With more than two decades of residential building and managing experience with a Fortune 500 company in the Houston market and sub-markets, Randy knows the industry inside and out. He was just 21 years old when he started on his career path as an assistant superintendent and quickly rose to management roles.
Clifford (Cliff) Stephenson is the Director of Service at TBD Management. In this role, Cliff is responsible for the implementation of the “Service Department” for each new community for the company in all markets. This will allow him to maintain and preserve the community and its residents while maintaining best possible customer satisfaction for years after it is built. He creates a sustainable, scalable, and repeatable system that can be seamlessly managed throughout the company whether they have 100 homes or 100,000 homes.
An expert in new home construction, project management, rehab and customer service, it is safe to say Cliff is a jack of many trades. Prior to TBD, he got into new home construction where he was able to go from Customer Service Rep to full-fledged builder/ project manager of multiple communities for a premiere developer. He transitioned to SFR REIT industry early on into the sectors life and held a few positions in project management before finding TBD. However, throughout his career he has always been dedicated to customer service. He began his career working with the State of Texas as a Child Protective Services Investigator investigating reports of abuse and neglect and this mind set is what propelled him to be successful in his multiple ventures.
In his free time, Cliff loves to spend time with his wife and kids. They are very active in the Catholic Church and participate with the Knights of Columbus often on many of their events. He also enjoys building and fixing things when he can.
Cliff graduated Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture with a strong emphasis in Construction Management.
Kyle Spicer is Vice President and Head of the Austin Division for Wan Bridge. In his role, Kyle is primarily responsible for leading the growth of the Company’s business in the Central Texas region. In doing so, he is leading the charge in creating and leading a team of acquisitions, development, and property management professionals in the Austin and San Antonio markets, but also is supporting the Houston team in land acquisition efforts.
Wan Bridge is excited to have Kyle on the team as his broad expertise in real estate, existing industry relationships, and ability to forge and develop new ones will complement the company’s rapid growth as they enter new markets. He has spent a large portion of his career cultivating relationships with real estate industry professionals including landowners, developers, investors, bankers, and brokers. In addition, his experience working in capital markets as well as banking make him an exceptional addition to the team.
He joined the WB team because he recognizes their unique vision, creative business model, and growing leadership in the build-to-rent space, along with access to substantial amounts of capital, is an excellent platform from which to scale WB’s business in the future .
Kyle graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with majors in Finance and International Business. In his free time, Kyle enjoys playing golf, watching sports, traveling with his wife, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Sky Usher is a Community Manager at TBD Management. Sky is responsible for community management which will consist of, but is not limited to, supervising employees and vendors, analyzing budgets and items on accounts payable, performing daily/weekly walks around the community to ensure the community models are neat and free of debris. Additionally, Sky handles any resident concerns while making sure TBD is providing top of the line customer service.
Sky has worked in the multi-family industry as a Community Manager for 15+ years successfully handling the daily operations of various types of communities including lease ups, mid rises, high rises, and stabilized communities. Sky has been nominated for Manager of the Year on several occasions with prior employers and The Houston Apartment Association. In addition, one of her communities won community of the year with The Houston Apartment Association.
In her free time, Sky enjoys her role as Assistant Capitan for the Houston Rodeo’s Metro Go Committee.
Stephen Graves is Regional Manager of Construction at Wan Bridge. He is responsible for the oversight and execution of construction and development projects in the South region of Greater Houston for the company.
With more than 20 years of construction experience under his belt, Stephen joined Wan Bridge as a master of his craft and an expert on home building in Houston, as well as the city’s booming sub-markets. He has built homes from Katy to Port Arthur and from Cypress to Lake Jackson. Stephen particularly enjoys building in municipalities due to the structure of inspections.
Stephen loves to spend time with his family. He and his wife, Kim, have been married for almost 18 years and have five grown children and four grandchildren. Though their kids have moved away, Stephen and Kim have two pugs they consider to be their children now. In his spare time, he plays on a competitive men’s softball team that travels all over Texas to compete, as well as each year in Las Vegas in a national tournament that hosts the country’s best teams.
Ting Qiao is the President and CEO of Wan Bridge. He came to the US six years ago from China with dreams of providing fine living options to a wider population via the innovative build-to-rent model. In the short time span since launching the company, Ting has played a key role in transforming the face of real estate across the state of Texas, forcing the industry to change the way it approaches community development.
As a visionary leader, Ting has broad experience in the development, management and marketing of luxury high-rise condominiums and mixed-use projects. He has led multiple five-star projects internationally and several Class-A multi-family projects in Texas. His most noteworthy landmark project was the first “green” high-rise office building in the world. Over the course of his career, Ting has developed 9.75 million square feet of real estate, 8.4 million of that in residential projects, totaling to more than $4.2 billion in real estate asset value.
Ting believes in the idea of following your heart to find your way, as he strives to create a new and better life for those seeking it. He describes his own life as five-star, and when he has time away from the office, he enjoys spending it with his wife, son and daughter. Philanthropy is important to Ting, who founded the Texas Future Foundation through Wan Bridge to ensure the education of future generations and help local communities where the company has a presence.
Yao Yao is the Director of Finance & Accounting at Wan Bridge and joined the company in 2020 to lead the finance and accounting teams. He is responsible for financial reporting, financial planning and corporate development.
Prior to joining Wan Bridge, Yao was a senior analyst and accounting system manager of a major build-to-rent company in the U.S. Over the course of his career, he has also held important roles in strategic planning and debt and equity financing as a financial planning & analysis manager.
Yao graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh and earned a master’s degree from the Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business. He is a CFA® charter holder.
Yina Chi is the Director of Design at Wan Bridge. In this position, Yina leads the design and permitting team, collaborates and creates architectural building plans, finalizes building specifications, and ensures the smooth implementation of vertical development within targeted timelines. Due to the nature of her role, she works with all departments within the company and third parties.
Yina has always had a passion for architectural design. She has spent the past 12 years honing her craft as an architect and urban designer at top design and consulting firms. Her experience includes designing large commercial buildings, construction plan drafting, and residential project managing.
Yina graduated from Polytechnic of Milan, Italy with a Master Degree in Architecture. In her free time, Yina enjoys spending time with family and her two young children. She also likes to hang out with friends, read, travel and hike.
